In 2011, Lorenz Bäumer had the honor of being chosen as the personal jeweler of Princess Charlène of Monaco for her wedding. Among several proposals, the tiara named "Diamond Foam" turned out to be the only one and managed to win the heart of the Princess. The tiara set with multiple diamonds of different sizes is inspired by their shared passion for the sea, with the Princess being a swimming champion and Lorenz Bäumer, a surfing enthusiast. Karl Lagerfeld immortalized this magical moment by photographing Lorenz Bäumer and Charlène of Monaco adorned with her diamond foam.

The diadem is a unique piece of jewelry, shaped in the image of the princess. The tiara is composed of round diamonds, baguettes, and polished white gold for a mirror effect, and once assembled, the tiara reflects the light and evokes the movement of the waves.

The sumptuous tiara "Diamond Foam" is adorned with a pavement of sparkling round and baguette diamonds as well as eleven pear-shaped diamonds, the largest of which weighs 8 carats on its own.
The first particularity of this tiara is that it can be worn as a hair accessory but also as a brooch. The second particularity of the Écume de diamants tiara is its asymmetry, a bold choice since the Écume de diamants is more difficult to secure than a classic diadem, but Lorenz, an engineer by training, was able to meet the challenge.
